His Excellency the Governor-General, Sir Patrick Allen and Lady Allen are to resume their island wide parish tours on Wednesday April 25. They are scheduled to visit the Bramwell Park and Sports Complex in Ewarton, McGrath High School, Jamaica Energy Partners and the Spring Village Community Centre in the parish of St. Catherine.
The purpose of the parish tours is to affirm the efforts of Jamaicans in the enterprises and activities that they are engaged in at the community level; especially those efforts that have been sustained for the past 50 years.
The tours began in March in the parish of St. James and are slated to end in August. In May, Sir Patrick will visit the parishes of Westmoreland, Manchester and Trelawny.
