His Excellency the Most Honourable Sir Patrick Allen, Governor-General, reappointed Mr. Hugh B. Faulkner as Director of the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) for a second 5-year term.
Mr. Faulkner was first appointed on July 29, 2020. A distinguished attorney, he previously served for 12 years as Executive Director of the Legal Aid Council.
As INDECOM Director, he continues to lead independent investigations into alleged misconduct by members of the security forces and other State agents, ensuring accountability, transparency, and the rule of law remain central to Jamaica’s justice system.
