Her Excellency the Most Honourable Lady Allen welcomed members of Soroptimist International Jamaica (Kingston Club) for a Courtesy Call on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
Led by President Ms. Dawn Campbell, the newly elected Executive Committee was formally introduced to Lady Allen, and they discussed the Club’s current focus and ongoing initiatives.
The Soroptimist International Jamaica Club was founded in 1962 and is the first service club for professional women in Jamaica. Over the years, it has championed education, health, and advocacy projects, shaping policies to uplift women and children, while also supporting schools, children’s homes, and national outreach initiatives.
The Kingston Club continues its legacy of service, community impact, and advancing opportunities for women and families across Jamaica.
