A delegation from the Heart Foundation of Jamaica paid a Courtesy Call on Her Excellency the Most Honourable Lady Allen, on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
Led by Dr. Leesha Schaaffe, Youth Health Advocate, the delegation engaged in meaningful dialogue on the National School Nutrition Policy, healthy school food environments, and broader strategies for fostering wellness among Jamaica’s children and adolescents.
The discussion also touched on the intersection of youth health with critical issues such as climate change and violence prevention.
Since 1971, the Heart Foundation of Jamaica has championed cardiovascular health and continues to lead through advocacy, education, and partnerships for a healthier nation.
