His Excellency Sir Patrick Allen welcomed the 2025 School Challenge Quiz champions, Titchfield High School, to King’s House on Thursday, May 8, for a Courtesy Call and Luncheon held in their honour. The Portland-based institution, Jamaica’s fifth-oldest high school, boasts a proud legacy of academic excellence.
Led by team captain Alex Anderson, alongside Quain Smith, Romain Smith, and Orlando Lee, the Titchfield team demonstrated remarkable knowledge and composure throughout the competition. Their success was guided by dedicated coaches Mr. Alpha Sparkes, Mr. Chase Roberts and Mr. Tajay Edwards, with steadfast support from Principal Mr. Richard Thompson.
During the luncheon, His Excellency presented the team with a Citation, recognising their outstanding achievement and the inspiration they offer to students across Jamaica.
Congratulations to Titchfield High School on this well-deserved recognition.
