Governor-General His Excellency the Most Hon. Sir Patrick Allen has appointed Reverend Jeffery McKenzie, Pastor of the Phillippo Baptist Church in Spanish Town, as Custos Rotulorum for the parish of St. Catherine. He was sworn in this morning at King’s House and his appointment takes effect on April 1.<\/p>\n
Reverend McKenzie replaces Reverend the Hon. Sophia Azan who has retired after exemplary service as Custos of St. Catherine for twelve years. In welcoming him to the position the Governor-General stated his expectation that the Rev. McKenzie would do well in his new role.<\/p>\n
