His Excellency Sir Patrick Allen welcomed Mr. Andrew Issa, Dean of the Consular Corps of Jamaica, along with the newly appointed Executive Officers for the 2025/2026 administration, during a courtesy call yesterday at King’s House.
The Consular Corps plays a vital role in Jamaica’s diplomatic and economic landscape, working closely with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade to provide consular services to Jamaicans at home and abroad.
The Corps is supported by 23 embassies, high commissions, and consulates, along with 80 active Honorary Consuls, all of which play a key role in promoting trade, investment, and the welfare of Jamaicans worldwide.
