On Wednesday August 17, 2022, His Excellency Sir Patrick Allen hosted the 2nd Marcus Garvey Public Sector Scholarship Award Ceremony at King’s House. The selected public sector employees received full scholarships to pursue graduate studies. In his address, the Governor-General encouraged the awardees to carry the spirit and courage of Marcus Garvey in their hearts and to represent his legacy as they took up the scholarships.
