Gov’t Leaders Sign Condolence Book at King’s House

Prime Minister the Most Hon. Portia Simpson Miller and members of her Cabinet paid their respects to the late former Governor-General the Most Honourable Sir Howard Cooke by signing the Condolence Book at King’s House on July 28, 2014.

Other persons who have signed the Condolence book at King’s House include: former Prime Minister the Most Honourable PJ Patterson, former Governor-General the Most Hon. Professor Sir Kenneth Hall, former Governor-General Secretaries Carlton Scott and Geoffrey Madden among other well wishers. The King’s House Condolence Book will be available for signing from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm on weekdays.

Sir Howard Cooke will be accorded a State Funeral on Friday, August 8, 2014 at the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity, 1 George Headley Drive, Kingston commencing at 10:00am. Interment will follow at National Heroes Park.
