The GG Meets with Finalists…

Governor-General, His Excellency the Most Honourable Sir Patrick Allen (second right) greets finalists in the 2013 LASCO/JCF Police Officer of the Year Competition who paid a courtesy call on him at King’s House on Tuesday, February 4. Superintendent of Police, Stephanie Lindsay (right) is making the introductions. Sir Patrick Allen commended the JCF Officers who he said put their own lives at risk on a daily basis in order to ensure the nation’s safety and security. The Police Officer of the Year competition is sponsored by LASCO Distributors.

Finalists in the 2013 LASCO/JCF Police Officer of the Year Competition and senior officers of the Jamaica Constabulary Force join Governor-General, His Excellency the Most Honourable Sir Patrick Allen (front row, second right) for a group photograph following a courtesy call at King’s House on Tuesday, February 4. Also in the front row from left are Mr. Peter Chin and the Hon. Lascelles Chin, both representatives of LASCO Distributors who are sponsors of the competition. As part of its corporate social responsibility LASCO Distributors also sponsors of the Nurse of the Year and the Teacher and Principal of the Year competitions.
