Parish Champions of the Butterkist National Primary Schools Mathematics Competition had much to celebrate when they were received on a Courtesy Call by the Deputy Governor-General, the Hon. Steadman Fuller, Custos Rotulorum for the Parish of Kingston today ( June 20).
Having just learnt of their placement in the recent GSAT Exams, the champions were all too proud to share with the Deputy Governor-General, the name of the schools they’ll be attending in the upcoming school year.
Custos Fuller told the parish champions that Mathematics has served a great purpose in the Jamaican society over the years. “There are a variety of areas that are in need of 
great Mathematicians and I hope you will continue on this path to make your contribution. I wish you all the best in this area and congratulations to all of you who will be attending new schools come this September”, he said.
